We invite you to join us on September 11 and 12 for an exciting and innovative day of roundtable discussions and information sessions sponsored by the College, preceded by dinner on Friday evening.. We welcome you to take this opportunity to hear from President Jane Dammen McAuliffe on her first year at the College. Join the College's leaders for an update on Bryn Mawr Today. Visit with current Bryn Mawr students, meet with other alumnae volunteers, help set goals for the coming year, and gain practical training and information on your volunteer role while visiting campus. Our agenda for our Volunteer Summit is outlined below:

Presentations by Jenny Rickard, Dean of Admissions & Financial Aid and Mark Freeman, Director of Institutional Research


The presentation will focus on the competitive landscape for liberal arts colleges and related recruitment challenges. It will also provide volunteers with some preliminary results from our recent alumnae survey. Our goal in this session is to provide our volunteers with information regarding the external environment in which the College operates today and how we might leverage alumnae outcomes as a competitive advantage.

Creating a context for understanding Bryn Mawr College's position in a competitive marketplace. Our speakers will open a discussion on what is needed to create the "college of the future", focusing on academics, communications and financial resources required and what steps we are currently undertaking to forge a path to the future.
