"Participating in Summer of Service was like marching through a procession of lessons."
"I began with so many ideas and expectations, but I had to come to terms with a world of different ideas and exceptions. This procession of lessons has helped me prepare for a career devoted to bringing peace, possibility and beauty to the world. While this may seem as idealistic as I sounded the day of my Summer of Service interview, I assure you that there is a big difference. I bring a fresh perspective to my work— a new 20/20 vision built on idealism and realism, hope and practicality, dream and honesty." - From Civic Matters Issue #2, Procession of Lessons.
