Combined Giving

Faculty and staff members are welcome to make charitable donations to community organizations through payroll deduction or as a one-time gift.  Donations can be made to the following organizations:

  • AIDS Fund
  • Bread & Roses Community Fund
  • United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey
  • WOMEN’S WAY

Bryn Mawr students volunteer or intern at several organizations that benefit from the Combined Giving Campaign.  Civic Engagement has advised that they have an ongoing relationship at the following places:

You can send contributions directly to these organizations during the Combined Campaign by selecting United Way on the Donor Form and by entering the organization name and indicated code.  There is a $50 minimum annual pledge to a designated organization.

The agencies with an asterisk are part of the United Way Impact Fund.  As the United Way brochures indicate, the Impact Fund donates to organizations that are fighting poverty through

  • Community Stability and Advocacy (54222)

You can contribute to the United Way Impact Fund by indicating code 34 on the application.

Those interested can participate using payroll deduction, which enables a donation of a fixed amount during each pay period of the calendar year 2025. The donation form also allows a one-time gift in addition to, or instead of, a payroll deduction. The deadline for completing the donation form is Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
