Health Center
The Health Center hours are 9 to 5, Monday through Friday. A Registered Nurse is available on-site 24 hours a day when school is in sessions for urgent problems. A physician and a counselor are on-call 24/7 for emergencies.
Counseling Services
The Dean's Office works closely with Counseling Services to promote the well-being of individual students and of the student community. It is important that students understand how the Dean's Office and the Counseling Center work together.
Leaves of Absence
Sometimes, even with all the support in the world, a student may need to take time away from Bryn Mawr so that she can devote more time and energy to dealing with medical or emotional issues.
Wellness Seminars and Women Living Well
The Women Living Well resource center, located in the Fitness Center in the Bern Schwartz gymnasium provides information on a variet of wellness topics.
Dean's Panel
Although the Honor Code provides the guiding principles of the Bryn Mawr community, the College also has in place a set of administrative policies to deal circumstances which are inappropriate for the Honor Board to address. Such circumstances include threats to the physical well-being or safety of its students as well as instances when the resources or property of the College have been abused.
Help with Money Matters
Whether a student receives financial aid or not, chances are that financial issues may sometimes be a source of stress for her or her family. There are many common sources of stress related to money.
Intercultural Affairs
The Office of Intercultural Affairs is dedicated to implementing educational and cultural programs that improve campus climate and enhance community life at Bryn Mawr.
Residential Life
Residence halls at Bryn Mawr provide simple, comfortable living spaces that promote full participation in the life of the College community and encourage individual growth.
Student Activities
Students who participate in campus life opportunities outside the classroom discover an ideal learning laboratory for gaining essential personal and professional skills, such as analysis, decision making, time management, communication, delegation, motivation, problem solving, and budgeting.
