Each week during summer of 2014, the Dean’s Office will send a Tuesday Newsletter to your @brynmawr.edu email account. Look for its arrival and take the time to carefully review the associated webpages on this site. If you miss a week, you will find a message archive.
The Tuesday Newsletter will facilitate your transition to Bryn Mawr by leading you through a 16-week process of learning more about the College, your responsibilities and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. We will be asking you to complete some placement exercises, respond to requests for information and indicate your preferences. All of our academic, residential and co-curricular programs for your first year build upon this step-by-step summer dialogue.
We can’t wait to welcome you to campus to join us for Customs Week, our student-led orientation program, on Wednesday, August 27.
Please bookmark this site now. It will prove invaluable to you as you begin to plan your first year at Bryn Mawr. Over the course of the next few months, offices from around the campus will be posting important information for first-year students. Expect to find links to calendars, arrival information, housing forms, planning your first semester, placement tests, assessments, even P.E. (Physical Education) information. In fact, everything you will need to know to make your transition to Bryn Mawr smooth and successful will probably turn up on this site.
