The Phebe Anna Thorne School provides traditional programming for preschoolers and kindergarteners. We also offer preschool classes for children with speech-language needs. Our child-centered, full-day Kindergarten program is located on the Haverford campus. The program balances foundational academic skills with opportunities for play and discovery. LEPP (The Language Enrichment Preschool Program)located on the Bryn Mawr campus, is designed to serve children with identified speech-language difficulties as well as preschoolers who would benefit from a smaller class size with a higher teacher-student ratio than found in the traditional preschool. Speech therapy is built in as part of the program both in the classroom and individually.
