People often ask what our dorm rooms look like. It's impossible to even give a general idea, since virtually all of our dorm rooms are unique. These tours will give you some sense of the style of the various dorms, the types of furniture, and the types of common areas and facilities.
Because of the wide variety of room types, we have no measurements for the windows or other aspects of the room. You are encouraged to wait until seeing your room before purchasing draperies or any other room-based accessory.
Most of our rooms contain twin extra-long beds. Extra-long sheets can be tucked in on a regular bed, so you should be able to use extra-long sheets throughout your tenure at Bryn Mawr. All rooms are equipped with a bed, a desk, a desk chair, a set of drawers, and a small bookcase. Many rooms have built-in bookcases, fireplaces, window seats, or other details. Again, given the unique qualities of each room, you should wait to see your room before purchasing any accessories.
Some pictures in this virtual tour show linens and pillows in the dorm rooms. Please note that these do not come with the room, and you will need to provide your own linens, pillows, and towels.
