The Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research
(GSSWSR) Career Changers noncredit program is a four-session seminar
that provides an introduction to professional graduate social work
education. This seminar is designed for anyone considering returning to
school to pursue our MSS education and training.
Prospective students may have some work or volunteer experience in the social service field and want to learn how their education and interests can prepare them for graduate social work education. Others may have no experience but know that their future is “in people.”
The Career Changers Program is taught by members of the School’s faculty and addresses the fundamental components of Social Work. This seminar includes both didactic and experiential components. Together, these give our Career Changers an introduction to theories and skills inherent in our social work profession.
Wednesdays, February 12, February 19, February 26, and March 5
