Jiayu Zhou '20 spent her Hanna Holborn Gray Fellowship studying Philadelphia's Chinatown.
Jiayu Zhou ’20 surveyed the business community of Philadelphia’s Chinatown and the “Mandarization” of its linguistic landscape. Named in honor of Hanna Holborn Gray ’50, the program funds 15 students each summer to conduct independent research in the humanities or humanistic social sciences.
