Assistant Professor of Dance Lela Aisha Jones will join Temple University Professor Emerita and author of Digging the Africanist Presence in American Performance: Dance and Other Contexts Brenda Dixon Gottschild on Thursday, Aug. 13, at 6 p.m., for an installment of Deep Roots Bold Future, a series of intergenerational conversations presented by the Painted Bride via Zoom. Visit the event page to register for the free online event.

Lela Aisha Jones is a movement performance artist, an interdisciplinary collaborator, community-grounded organizer/curator, and the founding director of Lela Aisha Jones | FlyGround, her creative research home.
