Senior Manager of Infrastructure and Systems

THE POSITION

The Senior Manager of Infrastructure and Systems is a key member of the College’s Library and Information Technology Services (LITS) management team and is responsible for providing strategic oversight of the College’s core technical infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Data, Systems and Interfaces, this position leads a team of 6 employees who maintain technologies such as the campus network; data centers; virtual and physical servers; telephone, file, print and directory services; and Office365.

The Senior Manager of Infrastructure and Systems position is a highly collaborative role and provides technical leadership for the College’s core technical infrastructure and services by facilitating collaborations among members of the team, LITS leadership and third-party vendor resources. This position also includes project management responsibilities and the responsibility for the development of positive working relationships with community stakeholders, colleagues and vendor partners to ensure effective delivery of services to the campus community.

A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience. Other related and comparable education and experience will be considered.

Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College and Swarthmore College participate in a TriCollege Libraries consortium and the Infrastructure and Systems team also manages virtual and physical server resources; data storage; and backup services in support of this consortial effort.
