Professor Bethany Schneider explores the canonization of Moby Dick and its endless revision into forms that are easier to read – condensations, comic books, children’s picture books, illustrated editions by prominent artists. Followed by hands-on examination for everyone of the dozens of versions from Special Collections. Join us in the 1912 Gallery, First Floor of Canaday Library, and get acquainted with The Whale!
