Bryn Mawr Renaissance Choir Fall Concert

Nov 13
2022
7:30pm - 8:30pm
On Campus Event - Old Library, Great Hall

The Bryn Mawr Renaissance Choir is at it again! This lovable band of students, faculty, alums, and friends of the College present "Ted Tunes," a play on the names of their founding and current directors, as well as the famous TED Talks.

In addition to Byrd's beloved "Ave verum corpus," their a cappella concert will feature works by lesser-known composers championed by Founding Director Ted Handy, including Anerio, Brudieu, de Monte, du Caurroy, Costeley, Eccard, Esquivel, Guerrero, Janequin, Lechner, and L'Heritier, hand-picked for you by current Director Dr. Ted Latham.

Come join us for a tour through the hidden corners of the European choral world of the 16th and 17th centuries! Admission is free and the concert is open to all.

The BMRC gratefully acknowledges the support of Bryn Mawr College and the Ted Handy Fund.
