Sign up for a one-on-one conversation with former biochemistry major Nia "Blue" Riggins '20 to learn about her doctoral research and and gain insight into applying to graduate school in STEM!
Once you register for the event through Handshake, the Career and Civic Engagement Center will contact you with a 20 minute time slot between 10 and 11:30 a.m. These conversations will take place under the tent behind New Dorm, and the rain location will be the Campus Center.
Interested in the chemical cues of beetles? Want the inside scoop on graduate school applications in the sciences? Nia "Blue" Riggins '20 was a biochemistry major at Bryn Mawr who followed her passion for ecology and entomology by spending a summer at the Harvard Forest Summer Research Program in Ecology collaborating with Dr. Sydne Record. Blue's work at Harvard Forest led to her being selected for a prestigious Ecological Society of America Strategies for Ecology Education, Diversity, and Sustainability Fellowship. Blue is now pursuing a doctorate in entomology at Penn State University.
