The Friends Committee on National Legislation, a Quaker lobbying organization located in Washington, D.C., that works on issues of peace and justice, offers paid opportunities for young adults: the Young Fellows program (an 11-month fellowship for postgraduates), a 2-month Summer Internship Program, and a 10-month community organizing program called the Advocacy Corps. All have adapted to remote work!
In addition to these programs, FCNL offers a young adult lobbying conference called Spring Lobby Weekend each March that brings hundreds of young adults from across the country together to learn about lobbying. This year's focus is on the funding of violence interruption programs.
Bryn Mawr College welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
