Kiara joined Ernst & Young LLP in July 2021 as a principal in the tax policy and controversy practice. She has been representing clients in high-stakes tax audits and litigation for 15 years. Kiara has been identified as one of the leading women in private practice in the area of tax controversy, and Chambers USA reported in 2021 that interviewees described Kiara as “an extremely strong lawyer. She is highly analytical and a force to be reckoned with.”

Prior to joining EY, Kiara worked at Davis Polk, Skadden, and McKee Nelson, where she helped clients resolve tax controversies at every stage of the IRS administrative process and in litigation. She was also previously tax counsel at Eaton Corporation, where she was responsible for global tax controversies, with an emphasis on transfer pricing. Kiara received a J.D. from George Washington University Law School, and an A.B. in political science from Bryn Mawr College.
