Are you interested in a career in law or politics? Listen, Learn, and Connect with alums in the fields of law and public policy!
Hear from alums in various positions within these fields about their career paths and experiences, and make lasting connections. This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about potential careers in law and public policy and engage in an informal conversation with alums who are excited to share their experiences with you.
Panelists:
Erica Seaborne '09: Erica is the Manager of Strategic Philanthropy at Polsinelli, an AmLaw 100 firm with over 1,000 attorneys in 23 offices across the country.
Swati Shastry '18 (she/her): Swati is a first-year law student at City University of New York Law School (CUNY). At BMC, Swati interned at the ACLU working with Muslim immigrants after the Travel Ban of 2016 and she also interned at the Women's Center of Montgomery County with domestic violence survivors. Swati was Head of the Honor Board for two years with SGA. After graduating, she worked at Paul Weiss, a law firm in New York City. Swati is passionate about making legal tools accessible for those existing at the margins of society.
