Career&Civic: Rescheduled - MLK Day of Service Event
This event has been rescheduled from January 20
The Main Line Martin Luther King Association and BMC's Career & Civic Engagement Center are hosting a toiletry donation drive and personal care kit creation event to contribute to the missions of HopePHL and Saints Memorial Outreach Ministry and shared with individuals experiencing homelessness in our Philadelphia community. The March 1 event will begin at 10 a.m. in the Campus Center with a brief welcome program followed by sorting donations and putting together individual personal care kits. Stop by and join us whenever you're able. We will celebrate in the community and conclude around noon. Donations of toiletry items are still being collected and can be dropped off in The Well or brought to the event.
Accepted items include:
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Baby powder
- Baby lotion or oil
- Pampers & baby wipes
- Lotion
- Deodorant
- Soap
- Shower gels & body wash
- Bubble bath
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes (kids and adults)
- Sanitary napkins & tampons
- Combs & brushes
- Hair accessories
