Career+Civic: School District of Philadelphia Hiring Info Session
Are you looking for a rewarding career in education? Are you passionate about teaching and helping students reach their full potential? Bring your lunch from the dining hall and meet with representatives from the School District of Philadelphia to learn about teaching opportunities in SDP.
This event is open to Tri-Co students of all class years and majors exploring a career in the classroom. Not all teaching positions require certification ahead of time – if you're not yet certified, don't worry! There is a pathway for you. Please see the SDP website below for the full list of qualifications, or ask the recruiter in person!
Schedule
- 12-1 p.m. - Info Session in the Well's Community Room 173 – bring takeout from the dining hall if you'd like and learn about best practices for applying to teaching positions within the school district.
- 1-3 p.m. - Tabling in The Well atrium; stop by to chat informally with the recruiter!
Handshake registration is encouraged but not required
