Drop in Workshop: Optical Toys
Take a break and join us for a casual get-together while we experiment with (and design our own) optical toys! We provide the material, you come up with the visual puns.
Where did people find entertainment beforeTikTok, reels, or even the GIF? Why, they designed and used their own optical toys (we think), and gave them irresistible names like The Thaumatrope. Instead of the same old scrolling, come flip some paper with us! Presented by the Makerspace and the Graduate Group who brought you this year's symposium, Kinesis: Movement and Mobility.
