Earth Week: Volunteering Trip - Stream Clean Up
Join Owls for Service and the Service Club for our Stream Clean Up Earth Week event!
On Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., we will volunteer at Elmwood Park at 1325 Harding Blvd, Norristown. The Stony Creek is located inside Elmwood Park, and we will be picking up garbage along the creek and in the park more generally. This location is part of the Perkiomen Watershed. Gloves and trash bags will be provided, but please dress accordingly. Please note that spots are limited, so if registration fills up, we will create a waitlist.
Please meet at Pem Arch at 8:20 a.m. We will take Bryn Mawr College vans and leave campus at 8:30 a.m. We will have a light breakfast available to eat while we drive, and we will get lunch after volunteering. The Service Club and Owls for Service will cover all costs.
