File Prep Office Hours: Adobe Illustrator for Digital Fabrication
Are you thinking about using the laser cutter, vinyl printer, RISO printer or embroidery machine? Your first step is to create a digital design! Learn the basics, or get file troubleshooting help and then make an appointment to produce your designs in the Makerspace.
File Prep Office Hours will be held in the Digital Media and Collaboration Lab (DMCL) on the A level of Carpenter Library. The session will start with a demonstration and tour of the Adobe Illustrator workspace. Beginning users can participate in a guided exercise designed to introduce basic tools and commands (please arrive at 1:30 p.m. if you would like to participate in guided instruction, which will last about 30 minutes). More advanced users are encouraged to work at their own speed and seek input/support on independent projects.
Important: Students who have not activated their Adobe Creative Cloud license will not be able to access software on the campus computers without contacting the Help Desk (help@brynmawr.edu) to request that your credentials be added to our campus license. Please allow time for staff to respond to your request.
