Join me for the opening of an exhibit of five paintings by French artist Jean-Léon Gérôme (1824-1904), which demonstrates the unique representation of Black male bodies in the "Orient" during the 19th century.
This exhibit is on view from Tuesday, April 18 at 4 p.m. until Friday, April 21 at 4 p.m. in the Campus Center, Room 105.
