The CFA Society of Philadelphia is hosting a panel for students followed by Q&A in small groups. Accomplished women with diverse backgrounds in the investment management industry will discuss their experiences in this exciting field and debunk common myths. Come to this virtual event to hear about investment management careers.

Moderator

Celia Rodgers serves as a co-lead portfolio manager on Brandywine Global Investment Management’s Classic Large Cap Value Strategy and research analyst on the Fundamental Equity team. Rodgers is responsible for researching the technology, communications services, and consumer discretionary sectors, contributing insights and stock recommendations. Prior to joining Brandywine Global in September 2018, she served in various roles at Aberdeen Standard Investments (2012-2018), including as an investment manager. Rodgers earned a B.A. in philosophy, politics, and economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Panelists

Stephanie Mishler is a nonprofit strategist at Vanguard. She is charged with developing and delivering research for nonprofit organizations on topics such as governance, financial sustainability, strategic asset allocation, alternative investments, and fundraising. She writes and provides insight on findings through research publications to internal educational content. Mishler joined Vanguard in 2014 and has held various roles, including retirement client services, corporate actions fund associate, and institutional sales. She graduated from Rollins College with a B.A. in English.

Wen Nannen is a senior director and portfolio manager at Lincoln Financial Group. In her role, she works closely with external asset managers overseeing Lincoln general account's $70B+ public corporate fixed income portfolio. Nannen also leads Lincoln's ESG investment initiatives with a focus on establishing a holistic responsible investment framework and identifying environmental and social impact investment opportunities. Prior to joining Lincoln in 2016, Nannen held positions as fixed income research analyst at Aberdeen Asset Management and vice president of fixed income research at Credit Suisse. She started her career in the U.S. as a credit ratings analyst at Moody's Investors Service. Nannen holds a Bachelor's degree in international finance from Sun Vat-Sen University and a Master's degree in accountancy from Baruch College, City University of New York.

Lindsay Schodowski is the manager of the TA Cash Management team in Fund Service Operations at Vanguard. Prior to this role, Schodowski was a supervisor of the shareholder activity team where the team ensured the accuracy of Vanguard’s share and cash movements to our accounting providers. Before joining Vanguard in 2018, Schodowski obtained her M.B.A from Endicott College, as well as her B.S in business administration and management from Merrimack College.
