Migrant Rights Today - A Workshop with HIAS-PA Thursday, February 27, 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Location: VCAM 102 Whether you are in a mixed-status family, do not have documents yourself or intend to be a positive ally supporting migrants in our community, this presentation and workshop will provide an overview of relevant resources, rights, and allyship opportunities today. Asylee Outreach Case Manager Gin Sum and Staff Attorney Joseph Gembala will share recent updates through their work with HIAS-PA, a Philadelphia-based organization that provides legal services supporting low-income immigrants of all backgrounds. This program is supported by collaboration between the Center for Peace and Global Citizenship and the Chesick Scholars Program. HIAS-PA is an ongoing CPGC collaborator through both summer and academic year fellowships.
