Miro Magloire, choreographer and composer

On Monday, April 28, at 4:30 p.m., the Department of Music presents choreographer and composer Miro Magloire, founder and artistic director of New Chamber Ballet. Known for his visionary collaborations with musicians-singers, violinists, pianists, and large ensembles, Magloire has a special affinity for cutting-edge contemporary music, which has led him to work with many of today's leading composers. In his talk, Miro will speak about his trajectory from creating music to crafting dances, and how his current choreographic works build on musical concepts. This talk will be held at Haverford College in the Michael Jaharis Recital Hall and is free and open to the public.
