Join us for a virtual panel on careers in museums and discussion with Bryn Mawr alumnae/i working at the Smithsonian in D.C.

In collaboration with Director of Museum Studies Monique Scott, this event is designed to give students valuable insight into the diversity of careers one can undertake in museums. Museum practitioners will share their knowledge and information about their own career paths, and will let students know of any opportunities available to work in their institutions. This event will include a 45-minute panel, followed by Q&A with students.

Panel Participants include:

  • Frederica Adelman '80, Director, Smithsonian Associates
  • Briana Pobiner '97, Research Scientist and Museum Educator, National Museum of National History
  • Brigid Laurie '99, Exhibit Developer/Writer, Smithsonian Exhibits

This is a Tri-Co event open to Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore students. Tri-Co students can register in Handshake to receive the Zoom link.
