Resources, Opportunities and Ways to Support Undocumented Students

3:00pm - 4:30pm
On Campus Event - Student Life and Wellness Building (The Well), Community Room
Breaking Barriers Program

This is part two of the UndocuAlly Series two-part presentation which focuses on creating and promoting awareness on undocumented identifying students at Bryn Mawr College, their experiences, and ways to support them throughout their college experience and beyond.

Through this session, we will discuss the on- and off-campus resources available to support undocumented students and discuss ways each of us can support students through their college experience and beyond. To achieve this, participants will have the opportunity to listen to testimonials made by Bryn Mawr undocumented+ students, navigate through some practice scenarios and draft up an institutional action plan. We hope that by doing so, we can continue to grow stronger as a community. Session Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Participants may choose to attend any one or all of the sessions offered. Those interested in gaining a holistic understanding on the undocumented student experience and ways to support them should consider attending both sessions in the order presented. The series is offered through The Pensby Center for Community Development & Inclusion's Breaking Barriers Program and facilitated by Leslie Castrejon,  assistant dean for Student Support & Belonging.
