The Role of Campus Communities in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

We will discuss campus activism as it relates to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, especially since the beginning of the most recent conflict a year and a half ago. This is an open dialogue, meaning that all students, staff, and faculty within the Tri-Co are welcome to attend and participate. People with any level of knowledge on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are encouraged to join. Whether you are just beginning to learn about the conflict or if this has been something that has always been present in your life, this event is open to you! The only expectation for the dialogue is that all participants come in with an open mind and positive intentions. This will be a student-led and moderated discussion. We will send out more specific guidelines for the discussion, and feel free to reach out with questions about how we moderate events. Moderation will be modeled after our cohort sessions, so if you are interested in how those are run this is a great opportunity to find out! Additionally we will be providing snacks, including Kosher for Passover as well as kitniyot snacks.
Bryn Mawr College welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
