On Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m., the Department of Music presents a Senior Thesis Composition Recital featuring live performances of pieces by 4 graduating seniors:

Madeline Appelhans '25 "Songs of the Soul" for soprano and piano, is a song cycle which sets the poems of St. John of the Cross. Performers: Jessica Beebe, soprano, Maria Dell'Orefice, piano.

Matthew Carey (HC '25) "Ariadne, Addressing the Sacred and the Silent" for 4 voices + electronic modifications Performers: Jessica Beebe, soprano, Anika Kildegaard, mezzo-soprano, Maren Montalbano, alto, Daniel Schwartz, baritone, (Matthew Carey, vocoder).

Willow Kohn (HC '25) "Metamorphosis" for baritone and piano Kyle Chastulik, baritone, Maria Dell'Orefice, piano.

Simran Shah (HC '25) "Roses for The Hidden One" for soprano and piano Sarah Shafer, soprano, Maria Dell'Orefice, piano This concert will be held at Haverford College in the Michael Jaharis Recital Hall and is free and open to the public.
