Visit to the Rodin Museum in Philadelphia
You are cordially invited to join the Department of Transnational Italian Studies for a field trip to the Rodin Museum in Philadelphia to visit Rodin's sculptures, The Gates of Hell and Three Souls, inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy.
Students from Professor Luca Zipoli's class on Dante's Divine Comedy (ITALB207) will conduct a class activity in the museum and engage in a discussion on how Rodin visually interpreted Dante's Inferno in his own art.
Please contact lzipoli@brynmawr.edu for more information and if you need SEPTA Independence Passes to the city.
The event is co-sponsored by the Tri-Co Philly Program.
This event is open to the broad BMC community and to anyone interested.
Bryn Mawr College welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
