Ashini Ganesalingam

Ashini joined BMC’s Investment Office in May 2024 to cover private investments, ranging across private equity, real asset, and real estate investments. In her role, she monitors and further builds BMC’s existing relationships as well as actively meets with GPs to source new investment opportunities for the portfolio. Prior to BMC, Ashini was a Senior Associate at MLC Asset Management, one of Australia’s largest investment managers, where she primarily supported the origination and execution of private equity fund and co-investments in North America and Europe. Her previous experience includes Aksia, an alternative investments consultant, where she conducted due diligence across private equity, private credit, and hedge fund commitments.

Ashini holds a BA in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, graduating summa cum laude. In her free time, Ashini enjoys rock climbing (one of the few moments she’s truly zen) and playing the veena.
