April 7, 2017, DJ Night, Entertainment
Olde Club 10p
Swarthmore will be hosting 2 Philadelphia queer DJs, DJ SCRAATCH and DJ Precolumbian. This will be a live music show featuring queer Philadelphia DJs in a space centering queer Swarthmore students. This event is open to the public and will be a wet event.
April 11, 2017, Our Narratives: Queer and Trans People of Color Panel, Panel & Discussion

This panel event aims to put a spotlight on how QTPOC students navigate through their lives with the knowledge that their different intersecting identities (specifically race/ethnicity and gender/sexuality) influence their everyday life and reality.
April 12, 2017, LGBTQ+ Faculty, Staff, and Students Dinner, Community Building
Upper Tarble 5p (Dinner)
Annual meal for LGBTQ+ Faculty, Staff and Students that will enable community networking. There will be a current LGBTQ+ Faculty member speaking as well as conversation-provoking questions on the tables to encourage discussion.

Come discuss the Q in LGBTQ! How did/does questioning fit into your queer experience? What should we as a community do to better support questioning individuals?
April 14, 2017, Black and Pink Event, Art & Writing Event
WRC 4p (Discussion)
Black & Pink is an open family of LGBTQ prisoners and “free world” allies who support each other. They work toward the abolition of the prison industrial complex are rooted in the experience of currently and formerly incarcerated people. They focus on advocacy, education, direct service, and organizing.
This event will focus on the Pen Pal program of Black & Pink. Attendees will receive names of LGBTQ prisoners and be able to write letters and send postcards to them. There will be opportunities to send an encouraging letter, create a fun postcard, or even begin a pen pal connection that may be continued after the event.
