Training: Juntos Community Resistance Zones Campaign: “Know Your Rights” Training and Canvassing

Help the Migrant Rights Coalition support Juntos in launching its Community Resistance Zones Campaign! Volunteer to canvas door-to-door in South Philly, informing residents on their rights and on how to protect each other from raids and racial profiling by Police and ICE. LILAC | Civic Engagement can reimburse your SEPTA costs!

Juntos is “a community-led, Latinx immigrant organization in South Philadelphia fighting for our human rights as workers, parents, youth, and immigrants.” They are hoping to launch their Community Resistance Zones Campaign on November 11-12 from 11AM-4PM.

This is a two-day campaign, but you only have to commit to one day of volunteering! If you are interested in participating, please sign up on the BiCo Migrant Rights Coalition’s spreadsheet and on Juntos's site.
