What's happening at your internship? We would love to hear what kind of work you are doing! 
I have been working on a research project at my internship. I am working with a few other interns on collecting data and turning our research into a paper that will be published on the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project's website. 
 
Why did you apply for this internship? 
I applied for this internship because I am passionate about research & writing and advocating against mass surveillance & police discrimination. This internship has allowed me to combine these interests. 
 
Working remotely for the first time? What has that experience been like for you? 
I am working remotely for the first time and have found that it really works for me. I have a lot of flexibility and am able to make my own schedule and have learned that I am able to self-motivate in doing so. 

What has been your favorite part of this internship? 
My favorite part of this internship has been collaborating with like-minded individuals to write about topics we are passionate about.
