Post-graduation plans: Studying Wolof in Dakar, Senegal through the Boren Scholarship.

People you want to thank: Professor Armstrong for believing in my French ability and encouraging me to apply to the Boren Scholarship. Professor West at Haverford for helping to guide my independent major and thesis. Professor Peysson-Zeiss for advising my thesis process. My mom for believing in me and always being a call away, no matter what. My friends at Bryn Mawr who have made this place a home and have helped me grow into the person I am today.

Key Bryn Mawr Experiences:

  • Serving as a Bryn Mawr tour guide, senior interviewer, and Admissions intern
  • Declaring an independent major!
  • Leading the Owl Ambassadors Club
  • Volunteering with Prevention Point Philadelphia
  • Doing a Career and Civic Engagement Center-funded summer internship in maternal health
  • Studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark

Anything else you’d want to say about your Bryn Mawr experience?: I am so incredibly grateful for the time I had at Bryn Mawr and the wonderful people I met and learned from. To all of the non-seniors, enjoy your time at Bryn Mawr because it really does go by so quickly!
