College personnel updates

April 22, 2025

The below message was sent to faculty and staff on April 22, 2025.

Dear Bryn Mawr Community,

I am writing to share news of staff opportunities and changes in my office.

First, we are starting to recruit our first presidential fellow. This is a one-year full-time fellowship in the President’s Office designed to provide a student graduating from Bryn Mawr College with a unique, challenging, and in-depth window into how a complex organization operates on a day-to-day basis and how long-term changes are made. Bryn Mawr College undergraduate or graduate students receiving their degree in the past year (graduating in December 2024 or May 2025) are eligible, so please encourage students you know to apply now (Handshake application for undergraduate students and Qualtrics application for graduate students). Applications close on Friday, May 9th.

Second, Millie Bond '05, Senior Advisor for External Relations and Secretary of the College, has accepted a new position at The George School as Director of Leadership and Planned Giving. Her last day at Bryn Mawr will be May 2. Since returning to the College after earning her J.D. and working in the legal sector, Millie’s contributions to Bryn Mawr have spanned five titles over nearly 13 years, within both Alumnae/i Relations and Development and the President’s Office. While in my office, she has been instrumental in building relationships for me on behalf of the College, managing external partnerships, co-chairing the ARCH Project, and staffing the Board of Trustees. She has given the college an important foundation for expanding its external presence. Over the summer, I will be reflecting on the best ways to advance the external relations aspects of her work on all of our behalf.

Amanda Chudnow ‘03, who has worked closely with Millie, will be our new Secretary of the College, effective May 5. She has served as Assistant Secretary of the College and Senior Director of Special Projects since March of 2024, after working in Alumnae/i Relations and Development since 2013.

We are also actively recruiting for an Administrative Manager for the President’s Office Operations and Events. If you or your colleagues are interested in this role, please apply

With gratitude,

Wendy
