Emily A. Mellott ‘95 has been appointed as the new rector at Trinity Episcopal Church in Moorestown, New Jersey.
Mellott is coming from Lombard, IL, a suburb of Chicago, where she served as the rector of Calvary Episcopal Church since 2008. She was ordained to the priesthood in 2006 and served as an assistant priest in St. Louis for three years before being called to Calvary.
"I was initially attracted to Trinity because of its great outreach and music programs and the preschool that serves the community,” says Mellott. “Then I just fell in love with the people of Trinity during the discernment process. I am really looking forward to getting started at Trinity and getting involved in the Moorestown community."
