What's happening at your internship? We would love to hear what kind of work you are doing!
At my internship, I am working as a marketing intern to research and better understand our consumer base so we can apply that information to help improve the company’s social media presence and help increase the marketability of our products. I work with different departments and synthesize my findings to develop various plans of action for us to take in order to accomplish this goal.

On the first day of my internship, my boss and coworkers took the interns to different places around the shop and one of the places we went to was the Vessel. This place stands out more than the others because it was around the time everyone started settling in and getting comfortable with each other.

Why did you apply for this internship?
I applied for this internship because I wanted to learn more about how to successfully start and maintain a small business in order to fuel my own future aspirations of opening my own business.

What has been your favorite part of this internship?
I really enjoy being able to work in the city because after work I get to explore and do all the touristy things in New York that I otherwise wouldn’t typically do. I think my favorite part of this internship was the calm and healthy environment I worked in and the people I met through my experiences here.

Working remotely for the first time? What has that experience been like for you?
This internship was hybrid so I had the opportunity to work remotely on alternating days. I found the set-up to be enjoyable because I had more flexibility with how I worked and was able to multitask better during meetings. Looking back, I think being able to work remotely some days definitely helped me work more efficiently and produce better quality work.
