Bryn Mawr President Wendy Cadge was interviewed by the Philadelphia Business Journal about some of her early plans for the College's future.
Cadge talked about working on a strategic plan as well as a campus master plan to outline capital projects, admissions, and creating access through partnerships with community colleges, fundraising, and preparing students to lead successful lives.
From the article:
"We will be just thinking hard about ... what does the liberal arts of the future look like, particularly in this social and political climate, and what are the key skills and habits of mind that we want our graduates to have so that they can succeed both in their work lives and in their personal lives once they graduate."
Since taking office in July 2024, Cadge has immersed herself in an energetic process of deep learning and reflection about Bryn Mawr. In classrooms, offices, labs, playing fields and Zoom rooms, she is engaging with the College’s remarkable worldwide community – students, staff, faculty, and alums – to understand the distinctive power of a Bryn Mawr education.
