November. Recognizing the challenge, resilience, and accomplishments of those who are the first in their families to attend and/or graduate from a four-year institution.
Black History Month
February. Honoring the triumphs and struggles of generations of Black/African Americans throughout U.S. history. This month is packed with events, talks, and local trips hosted by Sisterhood*, The Impact Center, the President's office, and many other departments across campus.
LGBTQ+ Pride Month
June. Celebrated to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States.
