Philadelphia Studio Courses

The Dance Program has a small fund that provides support for students working at the intermediate or advanced levels to take classes in approved city or regional studios. These classes may either supplement their Dance Program courses or allow them to study at an advanced level in a technique that is not offered at the College. Study Abroad

Students may apply to study in established programs currently associated with Bryn Mawr or other undergraduate institutions. Students have enrolled in semester-long studies at Trinity Laban in London, in programs in Paris, and at DanceJerusalem. Students have also studied in Italy and elected to do semesters 'abroad' in Hawai'i, and New York City. Bryn Mawr's consortial partner, Swarthmore College, offers a program in Ghana. If students elect to pursue other academic studies abroad, the Dance Program will work with them to find ways to continue their dance studies as well.
