French Placement Exam Information

French

The 80 mn exam which is on Moodle > Course view, consists of :

-a personal fact sheet for all students interested in studying French even if you have never studied French to place you in the level and track fitting your needs.  Please see the Moodle site to discover why learning and speaking French is important globally.  

-an oral comprehension passage with questions 

-a reading section with multiple choice questions. 

To ensure the best placement possible:

-Students we hope to place in French 005 or more advanced courses will be asked to submit a 400-word essay to be completed by July 17. 

-Students we hope to place into 005 or higher will have oral interviews over Zoom early August.
