Disability, Unity, and Innovation Center

The Disability, Unity, and Innovation Center (DUIC) is a welcoming place to gather with people who share a vision for a more accessible world, explore the innovative legacy of the disabled community, and learn the skills to build a future designed for everyone.

About the DUIC

The DUIC serves a three-fold purpose:

Assistive Technology Library: the DUIC is the site of the Bryn Mawr College Assistive Technology Library. Community members can schedule appointments to meet with an assistive technology specialist to get for a one-on-one consultation to learn about tools to help with school and work.
Learning Lab: the DUIC serves as a space for community members to learn skills related to assistive technology, accessibility, and design. Community members can schedule one-on-one appointments or attend workshops in the space to learn these skills.
Community Lounge: the DUIC serves as a safe, accessible space for disabled community members and their allies to gather and connect.
