Cristen Kennedy, M.Ed (She/Her) - Wellness Program Director

Cristen Kennedy received her master's degree from the Widener University Center for Human Sexuality Studies with a concentration in Human Sexuality Education. She previously worked at Barnard College as both their Violence Prevention Coordinator and then the Director of Health Promotion and Education. Cristen joined Bryn Mawr in July of 2024, in the inaugural role of Wellness Program Director, to help build Bryn Mawr's first holistic wellness program.

Cristen is deeply dedicated to providing trauma informed health and wellness education for adolescents and young adults with a focus on the unique concerns and experiences of students at traditionally women's colleges. Her areas of focus include sexuality education, healthy relationships, communication and boundary setting, sexual and relationship violence prevention, and self / community care.

Outside of work, Cristen enjoys baking, crafting, and exploring the Philadelphia area.

Erika D'Andrea (They/Them) - Wellness Program Coordinator

Erika comes to Bryn Mawr having experience in both higher education and nonprofit settings, in roles that focused on supporting and promoting health and wellness through a variety of different approaches. Their first job in college-- working as a wilderness guide and outdoor educator-- made Erika realize how much they enjoyed working with students to access and achieve holistic, joyful, adventurous, and healthier lives. Since completing their master's in Women and Gender Studies, Erika has worked as a K-12 and college-level educator with a specific focus on issues relating to gender and sexuality.

Prior to their position at Bryn Mawr, Erika worked as a gardener and educator at the Philadelphia Orchard Project, a nonprofit that plants and supports community orchards around Philly. Erika enjoys getting to know students one-on-one and finding ways to support students' wellness goals. In their free time, Erika enjoys running, gardening, swimming, surfing, making art, cooking, and trying new things.

Erika's areas of focus include sexuality, gender, and identity exploration; relationship health and communication; exercise and movement; gardening and outdoor wellness activities.
