IMPORTANT: For e-book titles, please indicate "e-book" on the form, even if the title already appears in Tripod. We "rent" and do not "own" most of the e-book titles in Tripod, and unless you request a specific title be purchased, the publisher may remove its availability from our vendor without warning.  Please be aware that not all books are available as e-books and not all e-books are available for library use. In general, the libraries cannot acquire electronic copies of popular and trade books or textbooks.

Course Readings in Moodle

Faculty can upload electronic copies of course readings in Moodle. Scans from books and journals must be limited and the scope, nature, and extent of the copying must be within the reasonable limits of fair use. For more information, see the ALA Statement on Fair Use and Electronic Reserves. LITS will assist in obtaining copyright permission for the current semester when needed.
