Fieldwork
Prof. Astrid Lindenlauf has been excavating in Naukratis, Egypt in collaboration with the British Museum since 2014. Prof. Jennie Bradbury has been working on the Kūbbā Coastal Survey Project, Lebanon (in collaboration with the American University in Beirut) and Jabal Moussa Archaeological Survey, Lebanon (in collaboration with the Association for the Protection of Jabal Moussa).
Further field projects in Greece or the Near East are foreseen for the future. There will be opportunities for Bryn Mawr graduate students and advanced undergraduates to participate in these projects. In addition, students normally take part in excavations sponsored by other institutions.
Nemea Valley Archaeological Project
The department's excavations at Karatas/Semayük and at Gritille in Turkey and the regional archaeological study of the Nemea Valley Archaeological Project.
Prof. Palermo directs the Gird-i Matrab Archaeological Project (GMAP) in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
